The brand-new FREE app from GoldieBlox is out now and it features an animated short that Lynn Wang & I directed!! You can check it out in the app store or at goldieblox.com. If you like it please do give it a rating or share it around, a bunch of good friends of ours put a ton of their time and effort into making it!
Lynn & I also want to give a shout out to Andrea Fernandez, Trevor Spencer, and Megan Lacera who were the creative directors of the whole thing. They worked their butts off and it definitely shows! And also a big thanks to Nick Keller for his awesome soundtrack he scored for the animation and Angelo Vilarfor all his amazing backgrounds!
Check it out! The app turned out to be super cute and really fun, Lynn and I are really proud of everyone who worked on it. It also features the voice talents of Kari Byron (formerly of Mythbusters) and Emily Haines (of the band Metric)!
Oh my gosh, that Wonder Woman on the far left looks just like me! Your poster made me feel so great because lately I've been hating the way I look, because I'm mixed and I don't look like any traditional beauty. When I'm older I want to work as a face character as a Disney Park, but I'm so scared because while I do have the right face, body, and personality for it, my skin is too dark to be the light characters, and too light to be the dark characters. Thank you so much, I love your art! <3
I’m so happy you felt identified by one of my pieces. That makes me feel super happy, beauty comes in every form and who knows we might see some more characters with different features and colors coming up even at the mouse house, I hope so anyways. Thank you for following my work, I’ll keep trying to create diverse characters in my artwork. You’ve reminded me how much it can mean to someone to see themselves represented in different art forms.
We had a great time at our very first Wondercon! We met some really interesting characters and I even got serenaded by a pair of fabulous adventure time cos players. This particular print did really well so I thought I’d post it on here, I don’t normally illustrate comic book characters but it was fantastic to see people connecting with this take on Wonder Woman. I’m happy that ladies who dropped by our booth were able to walk away from the convention with a reminder of how wonderful they are.
Hi! I just stumbled across your page and I must have your Peter Pan accordion book. Where can I buy it? Do you have a shop?
thanks for reaching out about our Peter Pan inspired accordion book Now Leaving Neverland. If you click the shop link at the top of my tumblr page you will be redirected to it. You can find all my books and prints there, along with a lot more art.
Meow! I haven’t drawn Catwoman in forever! Which is a shame really because she is by far my favorite comic book character. Well here she is in all her latex glory and ready for WONDERCON, which I’m super excited for, drop by BOOTH #1413 if you’re there. A print of this is up on my shop too.
I’m soo excited to finally have this printed! This is the first run of our Neverland inspired accordion book. We’ll have it for sale at WonderCon this weekend and on our website. If you’re at Wondercon stop by and say hi! I promise to be nice :) booth 1413
